If you have the symptoms as described by everyone on these pages - keep making a nuisence at the doctors and they will help you eventually. It took 5 months of visits to the GP, and googling my symptoms and then I had a severe hypo (blood sugars read 1.1) and a trip to the hospital in a ambulance to get the medics to believe there was a problem.
The nasty little thing (0.8 of a gram) was removed and I have been wonderfully well since.
Dont give up everyone !!

I had an 11mm insulinoma removed in Sept 2005, after 3 years of hot sweats, blackouts, "the shakes", making whooping noises whilst shopping in Tesco ( low blood sugars lol ), becoming a complete Jeckell and Hyde character to my family, going back and forth to the Doctors, being told that "No, you are not diabetic", then, when I awoke in the intensive care recovery room after my op, I felt cleansed, hadn't felt so clear in my head for a long long time, Thank You Mr Puntis my Surgeon.
